Covert Maggot Clips are the fastest and most practical way to mount bunches of maggots on a hair rig or D-rig without the need for a needle and thread. The lightweight wire construction and fine point keep damage to live bait to an absolute minimum during mounting, while the anti-glare black finish maintains the rig’s low-visibility profile underwater. Available in three diameters — Micro, Mini and Standard — to suit different bait quantities and hook sizes. For best results, balance the presentation with a couple of buoyant fake maggots and add a small Micromesh PVA bag of maggots around the hookbait. Always ensure the clip is fully closed before casting.
